Saturday Snapshot #1

To participate in Saturday Snapshot: post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky below. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online. Hosted by Alyce from At Home With Books!

This is my very fist Saturday Snapshot and I am so excited because I have been looking for an excuse to share my pictures from our Disney Cruise in 2010. My family was gifted a 4 night Bahamian cruise on the Disney Wonder.

We departed from Port Canaveral, Florida and our first, stop was Nassau, Bahamas. The view was spectacular...

We rented a pair of mopeds and drove around the town looking at the buildings, houses, and of course stopped off at the ocean...

Our second stop was Castaway Cay, owned by Disney, it was beautiful. The waters were clear blue and it was one of the most relaxing moments we had on the cruise...

We were also fortunate enough to have seen The Flying Dutchman Pirate Ship. I have heard rumors that the ship was taken off the island so I'm even more excited that we were able to go while it was still there. It was a unique and wondrous site to see...

I could post a hundred photos of the beautiful waters of the Caribbean, it was one of the best, most enjoyable, and beautiful vacations my family has ever taken.

Can't wait to see your Saturday Snapshots!

    1. I love the sea, not sure what I would do without it. However, only certain places have truly beautiful waters such as these. I hope you can experience it someday!

  7. Welcome to Saturday Snapshot, it's addictive. What gorgeous photos you have for us today. I could look at any number of Carribean water pictures. I went to Nassau about 20 years ago, it was so beautiful. I remember hiring a moped and riding around the island. It was paradise.

    1. I had never wanted to go on a cruise either. This vacation was a gift and my boys have been begging to go again. It was a lot better than what I had thought.
