Snack Mom

I decided to write this post after a mom decided it was a good idea to bring chocolate cupcakes covered in frosting for snack after a baseball game. Now, I hope not to offend anyone, but the truth is that the last thing kids should be eating after any sport is a snack full of sugar. I was next on the list to provide the teams snack and I was hoping to lead by example by choosing a low fat protein filled snack with calcium and vitamin D accompanied with a low fat low calorie cracker type snack.

Here is the choice I made.

Cheese sticks, with Pringles Honey Butter Sticks, and water.

Google Drive a Lifesaver

Picture borrowed from AndroidGuys

Sometimes you simply assume that certain things are just common knowledge. Recently, I discovered that Google Drive is one of those things I had simply assumed everyone knew about. But after speaking with several people it turns out that they've heard of it, seen it even on their Google account, but have never really stopped to think what it is and better yet what it can do.

So I'm here to tell you all about the wonderful things Google Drive does and how it can save the day.

Purse Switching Made Easy

Recently I was at my mother-in-law's house and we were getting ready to leave for dinner when she asked us to wait a moment while she switched her purse. I know how long the process takes me, so I returned to my seat to give her the amount of time I thought it would take to switch her purse. Before I could get comfortable, she was ready to go. That's when I learned a very good trick.

So how did she do it?

When I Grow Up I Want to Be....

Deciding what to be when you grow up is one of the most difficult tasks anyone can face. When I graduated from high school I had no idea what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I tried college, but since I didn't have a career in mind, it felt like a big waste of time. I decided to give college a break and enter the workforce. I have spent the majority of my adult life trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up.

After many years, a husband, and two children I will finally be graduating from college in approximately eight months. It has taken me a very long time and at times I felt my degree would always remain a dream. But I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I changed my major more times than I care to admit and even in the last year, I was still undecided as to which route I wanted to take.
